A Weekend of FOOD!

In reverse chronological order here is what I've eaten since lunch on Friday...

Monday (11/22): Breakfast
A nice hearty chocolate chip muffin.

Sunday (11/21): Dinner
Some random Chinese takeout leftovers (a.k.a Pick Four Things).
(I think there is a pork chop and assorted Chinese vegetables in there... I think...)

I figured the leftovers would not be enough so I made a cheese grilled cheese sandwich, toasted wholewheat bread with several large slices of cheese melted using the oven's broiler.

Sunday (11/21): Lunch
My girlfriend made me some chicken with stir fried vegetables over large flat rice noodles.

Sunday (11/21): Breakfast
Your standard Chinese hot dog bun.

Saturday (11/20): Late Night Snack (a.k.a Dessert)
A little apple pie ice cream from Baskin-Robbins.

Saturday (11/20): Dinner
Nothing like a little bibimbap.

 Saturday (11/20): Lunch
Some weird named sandwich (grilled chicken breast with cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes, ketchup and mayonnaise) along with some fries/coleslaw/pickles from Georgia Diner in Queens.

I had a Diet Coke to go with lunch, my girl friend had some tea.

 Friday (11/19): Dinner
Fried Squid

Korean Side Dishes

Spicy Korean Pork

Korean Pork and Vegetable Dumplings

Friday (11/19): Snack
The picture says it all, McDonald's fries.

Chopche, Rice and Spicy Squid

Meal: breakfast (Sun 11/14)
From: my girlfriend's kitchen
Cost: N/A
Location: my girlfriend's place

I had to go home early on Sunday to help my parents out with something, so my girlfriend hurriedly threw together some leftovers for me to eat on the way home.

Chopche, rice and some spicy squid.

Taste: it was pretty good, I liked the texture of the squid.
Conclusion: not bad for something so quickly thrown together.

Drink: a bottle of water (Poland Spring).

It's Kalbi time!

Meal: dinner (Sat 11/13)
From: my girlfriend's kitchen
Cost: N/A
Location: my girlfriend's place

You can never go wrong with some delicious kalbi!

Some Korean side dishes and stuff for the kalbi (lettuce, onions, garlic, bean sauce).

Kalbi (Korean BBQ short ribs)

Taste: just one word, AWESOME!
Conclusion: the best Korean food around.

Drink: ice water.

Due to Popular Demand, Five Guys Burgers and Fries!

Meal: lunch (Sat 11/13)
From: Five Guys Burgers and Fries
Cost: less than $17 (for 2 people)
Location: Queens

I decided it was high time for some Five Guys. My unilateral decision led to this:

My girlfriend loves free stuff even more than I do, and Five Guys has free peanuts...

I got a Little Bacon Cheese Burger "All the Way" and we split a regular sized fries.

Taste: as always, DELICIOUS!
Conclusion: how many years off my life has this meal taken?

Drink: we split a medium soda (free refills - Coke Zero).

Half Eaten Chinese Hot Dog Bun

Meal: breakfast (Sat 11/13)
From: some unknown Chinese bakery
Cost: not sure but now way this greasy thing costs more than $1
Location: Queens

Due to popular demand, my standard post formatting is back.

Chinese Hot Dog Scallion Bun

Taste: the damn grease ball tastes the same as it does every week, GOOD!
Conclusion: no wonder Chinese kids have so many pimples!

Drink: no drink...

My girlfriend made me a bunch of dumplings (yes these are homemade handmade dumplings) and steamed them. I took them out of my fridge and fried them up.
