"Stolen" Homemade Chinese Leftover

Meal: lunch (Wed 10/20)
From: my fridge
Cost: FREE FOR ME
Location: my kitchen

So... I woke up and scoured the fridge for lunch and basically put all the leftover food I found into a container and took it to work to eat for lunch. Basically, what I took was the leftovers of my parents dinner (explicitly told I could not eat it for dinner). However, the house rules are that once it enters the fridge it is pretty much fair game. That did not stop my parents from offering their disappointment that I ate ALL of the leftovers. It was not like there was really that much leftovers anyway. At least for one day I beat the monsters that eat all the good food in the fridge. They made the house rules, not me. I guess me eating all the leftovers makes up for the fact that I was stuck eating pizza bagels for dinner instead of real food. I felt pretty ill after eating the pizza bagels, I have no idea how my little brother eats that stuff regularly.

Shrimp, some kind of Chinese vegetable, some kind of ray fish, and brown rice.

Taste: the fact that I beat defeated the food monsters made this taste extra good.
Conclusion: as delicious as this lunch was I knew dinner might be disappointing...

Drink: a nice cold refreshing can of Coke Zero.

Dinner with the Family at home (Lots of Pictures).

Meal: dinner (Thu 10/14)
From: my fridge
Cost: $0 for me
Location: my kitchen

I could not go to the gym today, because my dad wanted me to help him clean up some stuff around the house. So while we sorted through piles of stuff my mom decided to make a real dinner. This is a very rare occurrence, and I have no idea what motivated my mom to do this. It might have something to do with it pour outside so she could not just go to Chinatown and buy something already made.

While I waited for dinner I munched on some Frosted Mini Wheats.

Dinner was not even close to being done, but my mom made some fried Chinese noodles to eat before dinner, and I had some.

Chicken with Assorted Vegetables

Fried Shrimp

Sliced Chinese Sausage

My Plate

My dog begging for some food...

Taste: everything tasted pretty good.
Conclusion: no complaints.

Drink: ice water

Even More Korean Food!

Meal: dinner (Sun 10/3)
From: my girlfriend's kitchen
Cost: super free!
Location: my girlfriend's place

So for dinner out came ALL of the food leftover from the wedding my girlfriend's parents went to...

Korean side dishes, this time including fried squid and fried shrimp!

Kalbi stew! Lots of kimchi (and some cabbage soup not from the wedding).

Taste: I have to say the fried shrimp and the kalbi stew were awesome, well the kalbi stew was the best.
Conclusion: I wish I had some more of that kalbi stew...

Drink: a glass of ice water.
