Starbucks Coffee

Drink: coffee (Mon 10/4)
From: Starbucks
Cost: FREE!
Location: Lower Manhattan

So apparently while I was doodling around at court, there was some kind of meeting at my office, that involved one of those large paper containers of Starbucks coffee. Fortunately for me, when I returned to the office, there was still some of that coffee left!

Starbucks Coffee (with Sweet'N Low and milk).

Taste: a nice strong cup of coffee.
Conclusion: a definitely needed boast of caffeine.

Today is dragging...

Drink: iced coffee
From: Starbucks Coffee
Cost: less than $3.50 (although very expensive)
Location: Lower Manhattan (around the corner from my office)

Starbucks Venti Iced Coffee with Milk
(with 3 packets of Splena and 1 packet of Sugar in the Raw)

Remarks: seriously I was dragging and I needed a pick me up...

Another Morning at the Office...

Meal: cereal bar
From: Costco
Cost: free [for me] (although someone did pay for it)
Location: Brooklyn

Kellogg's Blueberry Nutri-Grain Cereal Bar

Taste: leaves something to be desired.
Conclusion: I am obviously trying to save money. Although, technically I guess this is healthier than a pastry for breakfast.

Drink: more of that "iced" coffee
From: my office's communal fridge
Cost: free
Location: my office's kitchen
Remarks: I survived, it was not bad either...

Does Coffee = A Snack?

I am not sure whether or not coffee qualifies as a meal, but I guess moving forward I will also start to catalog what I drink with my meal as well as drinks that are more than just water (I drink a lot of water, if you have not noticed).

Drink: "Iced" Coffee with Half & Half and Splenda (Tue afternoon 9/7)
From: Starbucks
Cost: "free"
Location: Lower Manhattan (near my office)

The word "Iced" is in quotation marks because this coffee is only cold because it has been sitting in a refrigerator for god knows how long. I noticed this morning in the office fridge today there was one of those large containers of Starbucks coffee along with large clear plastic cups of milk and half & half. I know there was a late meeting at my office on Friday, so I can only guess this was left over. I have been trying to drink less coffee in the morning and only some in the afternoon if I am dragging. Although, I do down the occasional cup first thing in the morning if I really need it. Around 4:30pm I started yawning uncontrollably, so I figured it was some time for some coffee. I was too lazy to start a new pot, as what remained in the pot probably was going to be really gross since it was sitting there since this morning. I figured I'd pour some coffee from the container in the fridge and add some half and half and sweetener and I would be good to go... and I was RIGHT!

Starbucks Coffee

Taste: this taste better than the crappy Dunkin' Donuts Coffee we normally make at the office.
Conclusion: damn this really hit the spot, despite sitting in the fridge for days it tasted infinitely better than drinking coffee from the pot that has been sitting around for 5 plus hours.

Frappuccino = A Snack

Based on the number of calories and the amount of fat in a Starbucks Frappuccino, I think it qualifies as a snack.

Starbucks Grande Caramel Macchiato Lite Frappuccino

Meal: snack (I think it is a snack!)
From: a Starbucks around the corner from my office.
Cost: $2.17 (coworker gave me a coupon, regular price $5.07 after tax)
Location: Lower Manhattan

Not much to say here, except I went with "Lite" so I would not be drinking a full meal.

Taste: at $5.07 retail it better be good, and it is.
Conclusion: the fact that I saved almost $3 makes it taste even better, plus I needed the caffeine to power me through the last 3 hours of my work day.
