Pina Colada Doughnut

There are coconut shavings on the frosting and pineapple filling, the rest of the doughnut (taste/consistency) is similar to a jelly doughnut.

Taste: not bad, a little artificial tasting, but not too much so.
Conclusion: a solid light night snack.

DOUGHNUT!

Drink: a cup of green tea.

Saturday Morning Doughnuts

I went to Stop & Shop with my girlfriend this morning to stock up on some things. After walking by the bakery we decided to get some doughnuts.

It definitely was not as good as the cake dough doughnuts from Doughnut Plant I had on Saturday. This one tasted a little like the cakes and doughnuts that Entenmann's makes.

Almond Covered Frosted Doughnut

The almonds and frosting made this doughnut. The doughnut itself was nothing special, but the frosting and almonds were just great.

Taste: sweet and tasty, for your first meal of the day you cannot go wrong with this type of food.

Conclusion: now I have a sugar rush that hopefully will last me until lunch time.

Drink: a glass of ice water... again I needed milk but did not have any one hand...

Saturday at the Doughnut Plant

A few friends from out of town came to visit for the weekend. A couple of them wanted to try the Doughnut Plant.

Peanut Butter Doughnut with Jelly Filling

This basically tasted like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Carrot Cake Doughnut

Absolutely delicious. By the way, I love carrot cake. They even had cream cheese frosting as filling!

Tres Leches Doughnut

I do not have a picture for this one, which is a shame, because it was by far my favorite. I think they had some kind of milk custard filling.

Some one (definitely not me) decided it would be fun to feed pieces of doughnuts to the squirrels.

Taste: sweet and delicious

Conclusion: sugar rush!

Drink: someone would not let me buy a bottle of milk because they thought $2 was too expensive, so just some water.
